Abhishek Vidyarthy Singh is a photographer and new media practitioner based in New Delhi. Having spent most of his career working in broadcast and digital journalism, Singh developed an eye for compelling imagery and storytelling. He now uses the experience he gained as a journalist not only to tell stories, but also to apply an ethical framework to the process of doing so.

Through his practice, he explores and documents culture, social movements, nature, and his home city. His work tends to portray interstices—moments of quiet in between the action—just as much as the action itself and does not strictly adhere to any one style. 

Singh oscillates between working with both digital and analog mediums but tends to prefer the deliberateness and slowness of making an image on film.

His work has featured in publications such as Rolling Stone, NDTV, The Indian Express, and more.
